What makes some children more easy going than others? Is it their innate nature or something else? Learn new ways of looking at this age old dilemma and explore strategies that may help your children to be better able to go with the flow. In this informal format, our coffee chat facilitator, Marie Coakley, will help us explore what may be sparking the increased anxiety we are seeing in children in these modern times. She will also present a child specific approach to easing stress. Participants are encouraged to share their personal challenges and triumphs. We are here to support one another through the ongoing challenges of parenthood. Marie has worked in the field of medical speech-language pathology for over thirty years and has been an avid yoga student for over a decade. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2009 and is the owner of Yoga 4 All Studio & Wellness Community in Wales. Over the course of her career, Marie has worked with families of special needs children providing counseling and support to parents and her clients. She brings her personal experience of raising a medically fragile child into her presentation on raising a resilient child. Coffee donated by Cafe Buzzz in Wales. “Healthy Boundaries

Presenter: Joanne Angeli

Monday, January 14, 2019 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

FREE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP
Hosted by Yoga 4 All Studio & Wellness Community

We know what it means to have a “property line” around your home. And most often we and our neighbors honor those lines. Then why is it so difficult to live with healthy boundaries in our daily lives? Honoring and caring for all that lies within our boundaries isn’t easy. It’s also not easy to allow others to own what lies within their boundaries. You might find that saying “no” seems impossible to do. There’s a good chance it leaves you feeling resentful. It’s time to learn how to challenge the way things are(not) working out for you, create a plan designed based on your personal insight and wisdom, and end the struggle with boundaries as you learn to live a healthy and balanced life. In this workshop, you’ll learn about what boundaries are (and aren’t). You’ll also learn to build healthy boundaries that will have you living your life and not someone else’s. Best of all, you’ll learn to TAKE CHARGE of your life without hesitation or guilt. Our facilitator is Joanne Angeli, personal development and academic life coach of Newheart Coaching. Coffee donated by Cafe Buzzz in Wales. Register for this free event at https://healthboundaries.eventbrite.com
