Kathy has been in the fitness industry for 25 years.  Her journey began as a fitness instructor in 1990 with certifications by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. While raising 4 children with her husband Kevin, she taught everything from aerobics to jump rope, spinning to kickboxing.  Kathy was also a personal trainer for 8 years.

An exercise enthusiast Kathy participated in numerous triathlons and running events over the years. Her yoga journey began 6 years ago while up north on a family vacation. Her sister in law and studio owner, Marie Coakley, guided the family through a yoga practice. She led a practice of love, non-judgement, self-awareness and non competitiveness.  Kathy was hooked!

The journey has been transforming bringing balance, love, calm and patience to life both on and off the mat.  Her hope is that her students feel that support in class and that they feel their yoga practice support them throughout their daily life.

Kathy completed her RYT-500 certification with Meg Galarza at Yoga One Studio. She also completed a 20 hour training in Trauma Center – Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Keri Sawyer at Yoga 4 All in June, 2019.
