Kristine first became interested in Yoga and Meditation when she was a student at UC Berkeley studying Geography in 2000. She studied Zen meditation at Green Gulch Farm Zen Center. After marrying her husband in 2005, she studied yoga at Ananda Village in Nevada City, California in 2006, and has been teaching and practicing yoga ever since.
Kristine teaches a style of yoga that is unique to her and draws heavily from her training at Ananda and her studies of B.K.S. and Gheeta Iyengars’ teachings. In her classes, you will find that she tailors her instructions to whoever is in class and there will be a focus on each person moving with their own unique breath. Every class will end with a savasana (deep relaxation) and a brief meditation. Her goal as an instructor is to give you the tools to practice on your own and help you to connect to the peace that is ever present within. Kristine is also an FCS teacher for the Kettle Moraine School District.
