Fall Yoga Retreat
October 30, 2018The Fall Yoga Retreat was held Oct. 4 – 8, 2018 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Six yoga students joined studio owner, Marie Coakley, at her family cabin on Tamarack Lake. Students enjoyed yoga classes every morning and evening, varied daily meditation experiences, hiking and sight seeing at Bond Falls. It was a wonderful experience for all participants as we soaked in the peak fall colors, explored the practices of yoga and mediation and made new friends.

Recharge with a Retreat
August 16, 2016Greetings Yoga 4 All students and visitors,
I just want to take a moment to encourage you all to find time and place in your lives to attend a retreat. There are a plethora of offerings to choose from. My daughter, Kate, and I attended a retreat in Sedona, Arizona a few years ago and will be attending the Yoga Journal Conference in Estes Park, Colorado this September. Retreats are times for self reflection and connecting to where we want to head in our lives. When I was in Arizona about two years ago, I had no desire to own a yoga studio. I was still working in my speech therapy private practice and went there with the mind set of learning how to run a successful yoga retreat. What I came away with was an open mind and spirit allowing myself to be led to where I was supposed to go. I have yet to run a retreat, but I don’t think I am quite ready yet. Taking over the studio and facilitating the growth of a supportive yoga community has to come first. My life is quite different than I expected. I find what I am doing exciting, motivating and fulfilling in ways that I never imagined. Where might you be led if you allowed yourself to look deeply inside and trust in the universe to guide you?
In this vein, Yoga 4 All is going to be offering an all day yoga retreat Saturday, November 12th. This event will be offered by two of our wonderful instructors Lynne Smith and Kerry Duma who have experience leading inspiring retreats. Do you feel an inner stirring calling you towards change? A retreat involving meditation and yoga may help you find your true path, or allow you to make peace with your journey and where you are today. Celebrate your life and live the life you love!
Namaste, Marie
