Sara is a medical technologist and has worked in various medical research fields over the past 20 years. Sara believes yoga is a path to improve physical strength, flexibility, body awareness, and presence of mind.   She concentrates on alignment and helping students find a greater sense of ease and happiness in their bodies by teaching Alignment Yoga, a style of yoga created by Scott Anderson.  Sara strives to create a class experience that is both accessible and uplifting.

Sara is passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and helping others bring balance to their health and wellbeing. Sara’s other interests include teaching Tae Kwon Do (a form of martial arts), outdoors activities including paddle boarding, skiing, swimming and spending time with her family.

Sara completed her RYT-200 certification in 2015 with Alignment Yoga out of Madison, WI. She completed a 20 hour training in Trauma Center – Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Keri Sawyer at Yoga 4 All in June, 2019.
