New to Yoga?
Welcome! Taking the first steps on any journey can be intimidating, so we are here to help with that first step (or a return). Our classes are designed to improve your health. Our teachers are experienced and approachable. We sincerely believe in the practice of yoga and want to share all of its benefits with you!
Here are a few suggestions as you prepare for your first class at Yoga 4 All
-
Wear clothing that is comfortable and you can move easily in during class
-
Avoid eating a large meal prior to coming to class
-
Please turn off your phone (or leave it in the car)
-
Cultivate a beginner’s mind, meaning that every day is treated as a new start – meet yourself on this day and begin where you are
-
Class always starts on time. Please arrive 10 minutes before class and let us show you around the studio
-
We provide any items you will need for class: mats, blocks, straps… Just come and enjoy your practice
-
Make choices on the mat that feel good in your body. If you don’t feel flexible or in-shape then you are in the right place
-
Don’t worry about what everyone else in the class is doing! Leave self-judgment at the door and enter class with an open mind and heart
-
Don’t be afraid to use props during class. Your props are your friends
